Like Manna From Heaven

“Thank you for sending booklets in Kreyol for our Haiti trip. It was one of the most successful trips that we ever made. I made an early morning-till-dark journey by horseback into the mountains of Boug Bainet. Their pastor said God had spoken to his congregation and him that He was sending a missionary to help his church and village. Pastor Paul was at the mission house three days before our arrival, waiting.

“Thank God I was the man God was going to use, and for World Missionary Press, Inc. for publishing in Kreyol the Scripture booklets and New Testaments to take to a people that the Haitians said no missionary had ever [visited]. The church [people] said the booklets were like manna from heaven.”

New Convert Classes Established in Schools

“The Outreach Wing of the University Christian Fellowship, University of Ghana, received from your enterprise a pack of booklets including The Way to God, Help From Above, Meditations in the Psalms, Satan versus CHRIST, A Bible Study on John, A Bible Study on Revelation, and A Bible Study on Genesis. By the grace of God a great door of ministry was opened to us in Tema and Labone secondary schools this semester. A lot of souls were won for Christ. The booklets were distributed to all the students who received the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior as well as [to] the rest of the students who attended the program.

“We stressed the need for them, especially the new converts, to study these booklets. Convert classes have been established in these schools, where members visit and teach the converts from time to time. The booklets undoubtedly have been helpful in educating the students, especially about knowing the God of love and Jesus as the only way to God.

“We as a group express our sincerest gratitude of thanks and appreciation for the encouraging support you have given us all these years to preach the transforming Word and win souls for heaven.”

Helps to Fill in Blanks

“I have just received ‘Joy’—A Bible Study on Romans, and it helps me understand Romans a lot because I’ve gotten saved and really didn’t understand the Bible. This has helped me, especially the filling in the blanks, not knowing where certain Scriptures in the Bible are. A lot of things were broken down so that I could understand better and help others in my Sunday school understand. I feel that a lot of people don’t understand the Bible like they should, and this will help them. So I would like to request twenty studies of each [Bible study] book [you have published].”

Wants to Be a Man of God

“I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus, from Eritrea. Last week, while I was waiting for the bus in the station, I saw your booklet on the bench. It was How to Know God. On the back I read, ‘If you are interested in receiving additional studies of God’s Word, write to the publisher.’

“When I read this, I felt happy. I am very interested to know God’s words. I will appreciate it if [you can] help me to be a man of God.”

Is Convinced and Inspired

Booklets Given to Guerrillas

“I was in Gye for a spiritual retreat when I received notice that my booklets had arrived. They were sent to Putumayo on the border between Ecuador and Colombia, where there are FARC guerrillas. A brother who is a Marine took the opportunity to distribute in the area of conflict near Colombia. The commander of the squadron of FARC threatened to kill the pastor of that congregation so that booklets wouldn’t be delivered. But that Colombian fell sick, and many soldiers got saved to the glory of God.”
